"Jill" was my first working border collie. She has been a great dog to learn with, as she is very natural. Her instinct to locate, gather, control stock is very strong. Even as a pup, everything always had to be together. She is a natural outrunner and has a intensely strong eye'd working style. I have had a lot of fun taking clinics and working with Jill. Jill has experience working both cattle and sheep. She is very confident on sheep, and is really gaining strength as a cowdog.
Jill was the Lakeland College Stock Dog Clubs 2010 Champion @ the club hosted Sheep dog Trial. She placed Second in 2008, being beat by none other than my "Jack".
On her days off, Jill is also my roommate, travel partner, riding buddy and best friend. Jill is very clean, and organized! I'm not kidding when I say organized. She has a toy box, which she will gather and keep her toys in when she is not playing!
Jill loves to travel. She enjoys playing fetch with anyone who will throw anything that she can retrieve. Jill’s ball drive would make her an excellent candidate for Fly-ball or agility events, however my main passion is working the herding instinct.
