Cody was purchased in 2005 as my prospective reining show horse, however shortly after I purchased her I decided to pursue an education. Cody is a finished reiner, trained and shown by Mano Angers at the Canadian Supreme as well as several other smaller shows. Cody is tremendously talented, and has that true reiner appeal. She is very low headed with natural frame and tremendous stopping ability. She has a big motor and tonnes of cow which has made her one of my first choice picks for general ranch duties. Cody is very versatile and loves to be mentally active. I often refer to her as the equivalent to my Border Collie dogs. Her passion to work and please was very apparent when I introduced her to pasture roping. Cody took to it like it was second nature. |

Lady joined the herd in 2009. When the opportunity presented itself I didn’t hesitate to pursue it, and as anticipated she has become part of the family. Prior to her arrival here Lady was used in the Alberta Reined Cowhorse Association by a Non Pro. Lady was previously owned, trained and shown in her futurity years by John Swales. We are very excited to own this mare, and look forward to the resulting "Oak" cross she will produce. |

Roxy was born in 2006 as the end result of my 2004 internship at Babcock Ranch in Valleyview Tx. In 2004 I purchased a breeding fee to Bueno Fritzi Nic but was unable to use it until 2005 when I decided to switch mares that I had anticipated breeding. I started Roxy myself in 2008 as a 2 year old on an 1800 head grazing lease where I used her primarily to check and move cattle. From the first day I saddled Roxy she was willing to please. Due to financial constraints from college I was unable to put Roxy into a training program as I had originally hoped to do. She has a solid start on her, is tremendously athletic and like Cody, loves to stop! Unfortunately, In May 2009 Roxy sustained a minor eye injury; as a result I decided to breed her to Oak for 2011. Her eye has since almost completely healed and I assume she will return to work after weaning her 2011 foal. |

Chexy was purchased in the fall of 2005, and shown in the spring of 2006 by myself & my mother in some of the Reining Alberta classes. She has been a great confidence builder and is the ultimate Cadillac to ride. Chex is a push button ride, been there done that veteran type mare that has earned her spot on the ranch. Not only is she a versatile performer (used for Roping as well) she is also a proven producer with offspring NRHA LTE exceeding $3000. Chex was retired to the broodmare band in 2008. Chex produced a bay Oak colt in 2009. Unfortunatley she was laid to rest in 2010. |
