Yo is the one of two own daughters of Solanos Peppy San that i am fortunate enough to own.  Yo was purchased in 2008 to complement Oak through the broodmare band.  Yo is broke to ride and was used primarly as a saddle horse. Yo is the all around package, being well balanced with a solid bone structure, great disposition with solid performance horse pedigree.  Yo's first Oak foal was born in 2009 with an exceptional hip, solid bone, baby doll head, clean chest and throat latch, short back, powerful gaskins, low hocks, short cannons and great feet.  He is an exceptional performance prospect and will only be available to a show home, otherwise he will be given every opportunity to perform to his full potential under my ownership.  You can see "Solo" on the prospects page. 

Yo's maternal grandsire is a half brother to the famous Zan Parr Bar, who was also sired by Par Three (By Three Bars)

Dunny is one of the most recent additions to the broodmare band, and was purchased to replace Dry Doc's Lil Lynn my Dry Doc 17 daughter who was out of an own daughter of Genuine Doc. (I decided to offer her for sale due to the intensive Doc Bar line breeding on Oak) Dunny was a much better fit to my program and offered the added bonus of color. Dunny is proving herself as a strong producing mare, as her 2010 Lena's Shiny Jewel filly is stunning. I am very partial to the Solanos daughters as they provide a lot of size and substance that is being lost in today’s cowhorse breeding. Dunny fit's my trend of broodmares that I find cross on Oak, as she is well balanced with a level topline, solid bone, deep girth, a huge hip, and an overall pretty eye appeal. Not only is she an own daughter of Canada's Leading Performance horse sire, she is a full sister to performance earners out of a proven producing mare with the added bonus of color. I look forward to the future offspring with Dunny being such an asset to my program. 

 

The moment I saw Sis it was love at first sight! After a long drawn out process I finally acquired Sis in August 2010. My initial plans were to start her myself and use as a general ranch horse, but before I was able to start her, I broke my Collar bone. As a result I will be sending Sis to Clint Swales over the winter of 2010. Her future depends on her progress as a performance horse, but I already know that she will become one of my next all around versatile saddle horses.

Reece is a well started 3 year old Buckskin gelding. He has had plenty of outside miles, as he has mainly been used as a ranch/pasture horse. He has been to the mountains as a pack horse and adapted very well. Reece is very quiet, easy to catch, leads, ties, loads and has been shod.
